Maximum Ride
A book that I find interesting is "Maximum Ride". It's a series about six genetically mutated kids who were raised by a scientist named Jeb Batchelder. After his "death", 14-year old Max was put in charge of taking care of them. But then another group of gentetically mutated monsters called "Erasers" kidnapped the youngest of the group, Angel. So Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, and Gazzy set out to rescue her. Do they find her? Do they defeat the Erasers? Do they figure out what really happened to Jeb? I *loved* Max and crew! They are definitely action-packed novels that will appeal to a wide variety of people.
