I was thinking, The media makes movies about books all the time. But what I would like to see is a movie based on the book "Maximum Ride" it would make a good movie! The movies based on books that I know:

DeleteI always try to read the book first. I think I broke that rule during Harry Potter movies though!
Deletehaha i find myself doing that and after I watch the movie I find no purpose in reading the book...which is depressing.

the ninth circle and children of the corn. The worst book/movie was probably lightening theif. The book was splendid but the movie sucked lol
ReplyDeleteChildren of the Corn still freaks me out. The school I teach at has cornfields to the one side of it. Creeps me out if I'm out there in the dark.

DeleteI think that most movies aren't as good as the book beacuse they leave out so many details that you use to "paint the picture" of the story in your head while you are reading. I think that everybody imagines the characters from a book differently, so whoever made the movie may see and portray the character differently than we do.
ReplyDeletelightening theif, they left out the fight between Percy and Ares. They also left out when Hermes and Percy talked and when Percy met Mr. D. and Hestia
ReplyDeleteI have only read a couple books in the series, but I did not see the movie. It seems like when the books are on an epic scale (like these, HP, even the beloved Twilight series), movie producers inevitably have to leave things out, or else we'd be watching six-hour long movies. But it's irritating nonetheless for those of us who've read the books!
